If you plan to party hop tonight, here's all the info you need, and I'll update this list if I hear of other parties.
Our party starts at 6 (but the doors are opening at 5, if you want to get in an stare at a television as some of the first East Coast polls are closing). Super genius Steve Novick will be holding our collective hands right away, and possibly calling the election very early should Obama take Virginia. Mayor-elect Sam Adams will join us at 7 pm, which is perfect timing: That's the earliest the entire election can be called for Obama, as enough polls will have closed--including New York, with its 31 electoral votes--for him to snag 270 electoral votes.
Then we'll keep updating the electoral map until we've got a winner, at which point we'll turn up the music and get to partying.
The Oregon Convention Center is where the political geeks will be. There, the Democratic Party is hosting a shindig for Jeff Merkley, Ben Westlund, Kate Brown, John Kroger, and other Ds in exhibit halls A & B. (You need a ticket to get into the halls where they'll be giving the speeches, but the vast Convention Center hallways are open to the public). Elsewhere in the Convention Center, you'll find parties for both sides of Measure 65, plus Defend Oregon, which is fighting against Measures 58-64.

There's a Convention Center after party across the street at American Cowgirls Bar & Grill, from the folks at Progressive Happy Hour:
We'll be at American Cowgirls Bar & Grill, across the street from the Convention Center at 500 NE MLK Blvd. They'll be open until 2 a.m. We'll be getting started at around 11 p.m., though they've agreed to open up early tonight and to have election results on the TVs - just in case the line for the bar at the Convention Center is too long. (That's right, they're not even normally open on Tuesdays - that's how good your PHH crew is!)
