"It was very somber," says City Commissioner Randy Leonard, of his conversation with Adams, which began at 11:30, and just finished. Adams wanted "my insight and my advice," says Leonard. "I didn't give him my advice, but I did give him my insight into last week's events. As I made clear, I felt like I owed him that, to be as frank as I know how to be."

LEONARD: "As frank as I know how to be..."

City Commissioner Amanda Fritz left city hall at 10:40, declining comment. Meanwhile, City Commissioner Nick Fish has just arrived, telling journalists he wants to have a "private conversation" with Adams.

Asked when Leonard expected to get a statement from Adams on his intent, Leonard responded: "I really am so far beyond predicting what Sam's going to do."

Among reporters outside city hall, there are mixed opinions about what last night's protest means for Adams. Several, however, have not exactly viewed it in terms of a "resurrection."
