I don't have much patience for serialized fiction. I prefer my comics as trades and my TV as six-hour DVD marathons. I also don't like reading things on my computer—I've had a pdf of local writer/artist duo Jamie S. Rich and Joelle Jones' much-anticipated new graphic novel You Have Killed Me sitting on my desktop for months, but I'm just not going to read it until Oni Press sends me a hard copy (HINT).

But now Tor is serializing Cory Doctorow's new novel Makers in 81 chunks on their website, promising new installments every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with illustrations by Idiots' Books. I want to read it. I just don't want to read it like that. But I will. Well played, new media. Well played. (Background on the project: Here.)
