The mysterious disappearance of 22-year-old Portlander Tyler Brady has ended in tragedy. After disappearing on his bicycle almost exactly a month ago, Brady's body was found today in the Willamette near OMSI.

The body of 22-year-old Tyler Brady was located today in the Willamette River near OMSI. At approximately 1:00 p.m., a citizen saw what they believed was a body and notified an OMSI volunteer who immediately called police.
The medical examiner will do an autopsy tomorrow to determine the cause of death. My sincere condolences to Brady's family and friends.

UPDATE 3/18: Several TV stations are reporting that the medical examiner's office has declared Brady's death an accidental drowning.
A commenter on BikePortland.org said he had seen a bike like Brady's locked to an oak tree not far from where Brady's body was found. It took two weeks for bike thieves to begin stealing pieces off the bike, until all that remains today is this lock:
