West Linn police are on the scenes of two related overnight robberies that began when three robbers disguised as ninjas broke into a home late Thursday afternoon.

Police say the robbers rang the bell at a row house in the 2200-block of St. Moritz Loop in West Linn around 5 p.m. When a woman answered door, the armed trio forced her to the top floor, tied her up and ransacked the home. Then they laid in wait for her husband, Rick Rogoway, to come home several hours later, eventually forcing him to accompany them to his jewelry store, open the door and safes and watch them rob it. Wow. They forced him to watch as they robbed his store. C'mon, ninjas. That's just cold.
