Holy Crap—first of all, it looks as if there are actually a few tickets available to the Conan O'Brien live tour stop in Eugene on April 12th. This comes as some surprise to me, as I checked a few weeks ago and the only tickets available were part of the insanely expensive Meet and Greet package. Well, as of this afternoon on the Hult Center website there are Orchestra ($79.50) and Rear Orchestra ($59.50) seats available. It should be noted that Eugene is the first show of the tour, which ought to guarantee a few extra hijinx.

But if you're not monied or fortunate enough to grab tickets to see Conan himself, consider the Conan Writers Panel taking place Friday the 23rd at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. The special show features Late Night writers Kevin Dorff, Brian McCann, Josh Comers, Dan Cronin, and will be moderated by Jimmy Pardo. You'll most likely recognize McCann, who's starred in a number of Conan's best skits. The Bridgetown website says that the panel may even discuss events surrounding the show's demise that "for legal reasons, couldn’t be discussed on television." Here's hoping.

Definitely one of the coolest one-off shows happening at Bridgetown this year. The Conan Writers Panel begins at 8:00PM at the Bagdad Theatre, Friday April 23rd.
