"Blah blah blah," you say! "We can't even avoid catastrophic environmental fuck-ups on our own planet, nor do we have the resources to cure disease, end poverty, or make it so the jackasses who manage my apartment building can do something as simple as make sure I have hot water in the morning. How is spending a kajillion billion dollars to go to Mars in any way, shape, or form a good idea? BLAH BLAH BLAH."

Shut your wordhole, naysayer. Go say your nay somewhere else. There's a new Symphony of Science video, and it's about how we should go to Mars—like, now—and it features Robert Zubrin, Brian Cox (no, not that Brian Cox, sadly), Penelope Boston, and my main man Carl Sagan, and it makes me want to go empty my bank account and give it all to NASA to make this shit happen already. In other words: Just like all the other Symphony of Science videos, it's well worth watching. Get to it.
