New York-based artist Ed Purver is part of a two-man art team vying for a sizable commission that apparently involves creating large works inspired by Portland's downtown bridges. And as part of the contest for the competition, announced last year, finalists last week were treated to an in-the-guts tour of some of our more storied spans.

Purver posted some of what he observed on Vimeo—a jittery look at the Morrison's underbelly. And if you click on Purver's blog, you can see some pretty gorgeous still shots from his tour.
