Miley Cyrus is doing it right, rebelling against the father who helped build her career before publicly decrying her ruination by Satan by recording a cover of Poison's power ballad "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" for her most recent album and releasing it as a single.

As tabloid readers must remember, "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" is written by Bret Michaels, whose alleged affair with Miley's mom Tish Cyrus allegedly led to Miley's parents' divorce, and Miley's cover will put a lot of money in the pocket of her semi-estranged father's arch enemy.

Bravo, Miley! Flipping the bird via decades of royalties is a much better method of rebellion than marrying a buffoon and going crazy.
