There's only so much room on the page for my Last Supper column, and I'm not particularly adept at sticking to my word count. So, as it is, we don't always get to print as many of the photos from our stellar photographers as we might like. However, there's plenty of room in our internet tubes, so we might as well give you every opportunity to salivate over the meals we get to expense.

Alison filled in for me this week while I was out of town, and wrote a great piece on Portland's newest (only?) haute vegetarian joint, Natural Selection. Her piece, along with Amanda Smith's pictures, made me regret taking that week off. The space is beautiful, and if the plates taste half as good as they look, it'll be well worth taking a night off from animal flesh.
