I have stuff to say about both of these events.
1. The full lineup for the comics event Erik and I are hosting tonight at the Jack London is Jeff Parker and Erika Moen, presenting Bucko; I Cut My Hair creator Lisa Eisenberg, showing short, funny pieces; Sarah Oleksyk, reading from her great YA graphic novel Ivy; and Jim Hill bringing the zombies with Dead Don't Die. We've also got a few special guests doing voices, including Kirk from Trek in the Park. The show is in the new Jack London bar in the basement of the Rialto, which I think is going to be great for readings and artsy events in the future. Doors at 7:30 pm, show at 8.
2. I also want to double-vouch for the WTC's Bike Noir. This company is young, earnest, and increasingly accomplished; I've never made it to one of their bike plays, but I'm hoping to catch this one. They do good work.
