First, check out today's Voodoo Doughnut Traffic Report. Okay, so I think it's a pretty good bet that most of the people in that line aren't from the Portland metro area. WHICH IS FINE! I'm thrilled with Voodoo's success, and tourism is a financial boon to our community (while giving us something else to make fun of). All that being said, here's the Blogtown Ethicist's ethical query of the day:
I WANT A FREAKING DOUGHNUT. IS IT ETHICALLY OKAY FOR ME TO SHOW MY I.D. TO THE FIRST PERSON IN LINE, AND SAY, "I GET TO CUT. I'M FROM HERE."
