After a year's worth of roaming ramen meals in borrowed kitchens, the boys behind pop-up sensation Boke Bowl are opening up a brick-and-mortar place of their own. We've written about Boke Bowl's ramen before, and I've yet to have anything less than a stellar experience.

Projected to open for lunch service in October, the new digs are right next door to Bunk Bar on Water Ave., and will seat about 50 people in the 1600 square foot space. PoMo's Karen Brooks has details on what we can expect in Boke's next phase. In addition to their stellar pulled pork and caramelized fennel, the boys are looking to host a weekly "family-style Korean fried chicken night" as well as a "Boke breakfast, emphasizing light, Japanese-influenced foods."
