Tonight's the last showing of Shane Black's badass 2005 comedy/mystery/action flick Kiss Kiss Bang Bang at the Laurelhurst. Cancel whatever lame plans you have and go see it.

Yeah, I know—that trailer doesn't do it justice. But rest assured that this thing is one of the funniest, cleverest, most entertaining flicks in recent memory. It boasts hilarious, razor-sharp dialogue, a slew of excellent characters, fantastic performances from Robert Downey, Jr. and Val Kilmer and MIchelle Monaghan, a severed finger, a few trunks' worth of dead bodies, some gorgeously shot chunks of Los Angeles, corpse piss, a boob spider, and one of the best voiceovers in film history. Also, if you're nerdily inclined, as I am? It takes like zero imagination to think of it as the best Iron Man/Batman crossover movie that will never be.

Last show's tonight at 9:30 at the Laurelhurst (2735 E Burnside); after that, you're stuck with watching it on your crappy TV or computer. Go.
