Mitt Romney is up everywhere but South Carolina, where some polls have him running neck-and-neck with Newt Gingrich. And so, naturally, Romney-friendly superPAC Restore Our Future has put out an anti-Gingrich ad. It doesn't address any of Gingrich's claims about Bain Capital, but it is a pretty mean ad:

Frankly, I think this is kind of a dumb move. All this ad is going to do is piss Newt Gingrich off, and when Newt gets mad, he has to get even. It's like a biological imperative. If Mitt ignored the Gingrich campaign, Newt would probably bow out earlier. As it is, he's provoking Gingrich to stay in the race and keep throwing punches.
