Ryan Murphy—the creator of American Horror Story, which was hands down the best show of last year—was speaking to a TV panel yesterday in North Hollywood, and revealed the setting of season two... as well as who will be along for the ride! From EW:

According to Murphy, the show’s sophomore season “is set on the East Coast at an institution for the criminally insane that is run by Jessica [Lange].”

Omigod YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! As you remember, Lange played the awesomely creepy next door neighbor Constance in season one. But dig this!

But don’t expect to see Lange reprise her role as cruel, campy Constance Langdon. Instead, she’ll be playing a new character altogether — fitting, since Murphy also explained that season 2 “is set in a completely different time period.”

Omigod YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! Ryan Murphy may have finally figured out a way to turn one of his "one-season wonders" (Oh hello, Glee) into a series with staying power. Smart guy, and I cannot wait to see this!
