I haven't had a chance to make it to Naked Girls Reading yet, and I'm kinda bummed I can't make it to this one—the theme is "Book Fair," promising readings from young-adult classics, and as we all know my coffee table is chockablock with YA novels. (I just found a nice hardcover of John Corey Whaley's Where Things Come Back at Green Bean Books for half off! I've been meaning to read it since seeing Whaley at Wordstock last year. Stoked.)

If you're not familiar with Naked Girls Reading, Erik wrote about it here—basically it's naked chicks, mostly drawn from Portland's burlesque scene, reading books they like. (The comments on Erik's post are oddly grumpy. How does this NOT sound like a fun way to spend a Friday?)

Anyway, I've got a pair of tickets to giveaway to tomorrow night's show. Post the name of the kids' book character you most wanted to see naked when you were a kid (is this inappropriate?) in the comments and I will pick a winner at random by 5 pm today. (Make sure there's a valid email address attached to your Blogtown account, or include one with your comment, otherwise you WON'T WIN.)

The show is tomorrow at the Blue Monk, 10 pm; tickets are $13 and you can buy 'em here if you prefer to pay for them.
