A Portland activist arrested and charged with 72 counts of criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit criminal mischief for a series of window-smashings has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

Bryan Michael Weideman was arrested in March and accused of smashing windows at Portland Community College in July 2010 and at Key Bank and US Bank last February, the night before Occupy's big F29 protest.

Supporters, who believe the steep charges were politically motivated, reported this week that Weideman Wiedeman accepted includes 5 years supervised probation, 20 days of weekend jail, 80 hours of community service, and over $43,000 in restitution.
