Look, I liked Frozen just fine, and I'll readily admit that I'm the exact opposite of its demographic, and for the past few months I've done my best to tolerate all the obnoxious people who love love LOVE it, but this... this just seems terrible. How... how is there any way that this will not be awful? The very thought of attending this makes me think of winter-themed deaths that would be preferable. (All of them are preferable: Falling through ice into dark lake, getting impaled by icicles through both eyes at once, venturing into traffic as Portlanders try to deal with a quarter-inch of snow, venturing north of the Wall and getting killed by the Others.) Basically this idea is the worst, and I'm not just saying that because children are filthy disease carriers who should never be allowed to congregate in groups larger than two.

Frozen fans have embraced the film’s original songs and its soundtrack with such passion—there are countless YouTube videos from people singing songs like 'Let It Go'—we decided to create a version that would celebrate that enthusiasm,” said Disney’s Dave Hollis, executive vice president, theatrical distribution.

On-screen lyrics and a magical bouncing snowflake will accompany select showings, he said. (Via.)

Sing-along screenings of Frozen will start on January 31. I am very grateful it is not Worst. Night. Ever. season.
