That headline sounds vaguely sexual (and, once it's given that context, vaguely terrifying) but I'm going to leave it.

There are a few big blockbuster-y type movies I'm excited for this summer, but Godzilla might be at the top of that list. Which is weird, given that the director's previous movie, Monsters, wasn't great. But just about everything we've seen for this new Godzilla looks awesome—in both senses of the word—and ambitious and scary, and I can't wait to see if they pull it off. This looks like it could be smart, and like it could be traumatic (as the original Godzilla was), and it definitely looks like it has Bryan Cranston in it. And a giant pissed-off lizard.

I hope it's as good as it looks.
