Kelly Reichardt—the director behind Oregon-set films Old Joy, Wendy and Lucy, and Meek's Cutoff—has a new film, Night Moves, which I was hoping was going to be a Bob Seger biopic but instead is an eco-thriller—an "engrossing reflection on radical violence and its fallout"—starring Jesse Eisenberg, Dakota Fanning, and Peter Sarsgaard. Co-written by Reichardt's frequent collaborator, Jon Raymond, Night Moves finally has a trailer. It looks kind of great. And you can tell it's set in Oregon because when they cut to a shot of a sinister car, it's a Subaru station wagon.

No word yet on when this will hit Portland, but we'll be reviewing it as soon as it does.
