At last night's compilation release party, PDX Pop Now! announced the lineup for this year's festival, taking place July 18-20 at Audiocinema (226 SE Madison, underneath the Hawthorne Bridge). It's a snapshot of the Portland music scene, with up-and-comers playing alongside established acts for a well-rounded bill that covers virtually every corner of local music. I'm particularly excited for the Resistance, Vikesh Kapoor, Thanks, old favorites the Bugs and the Estranged, and the handful of exciting sounding bands I'm not completely familiar with yet.

[UPDATE] Also, here's a nutty video PDX Pop Now! made with Papi Fimbres (of Orquestra Pacifico Tropical and a million other bands) to accompany the lineup. Who likes strawberries?

Click the jump for the full lineup, more than 40 bands that will make the free, three-day, all-ages festival yet another one to remember.
