Last year's Burger Week brought Portland to its knees. Traffic on all city streets stood at full gridlock, as diners fought to reach the thirteen destination restaurants offering their special $5 creations. The state's beef supply dwindled. People jumped from the rooftops, hoping to land at a table at Slow Bar, White Owl, Ate-oh-Ate, and the like. It was madness.

And we're doing it again. With more participants.

This year we have TWENTY restaurants signed on. From August 11th-17th, you'll enjoy full-sized, high-quality, inventive—nay, game-changing—burgers, at prices straight out of history.

Pictured above is a prototype of the burger Nick Zukin's Mi Mero Mole will offer at its Chinatown location. From Zukin: "We’re doing a chorizo patty with a bacon-wrapped chile relleno, guac, sour cream, and pickled onions." He is not messing around.
