Fade to Light: A Multidimensional Fashion Event is a bi-annual fashion show that lets designers off the leash with their runway presentations, and in the past has featured live music, dance performances, and myriad videos ranging from the lookbook type to “What in the hell did I just watch?”. This installment will feature new collections from Altar, Laurs Kemp, Rogue:Minx, Stephanie D. Couture, Tiffany Bean, Wendy Ohlendorf, West Daily and Ms. Wood, who is triumphantly returning to the Portland fashion scene after three years of absence. (Full disclosure, I produce this event.)
Crystal Ballroom, 1332 West Burnside, Wednesday February 24, 6:30 pm, $10-$55

If you're in the market for new workout gear and feel like trekking out to Lake Oswego, then the Fleet Feet Sports Spring Fashion Show is for you. They will debut new spring looks from Kari Traa, Lole, Handful, Oiselle, New Balance, adidas, Stance, and more. Light food and drinks will be served, and 100% of the proceeds from the show goes to the Lake Oswego Transitional Shelter Ministry.
Fleet Feet Sports, 385 1st #123, Lake Oswego, Thursday February 25, 7 pm, $10

betsy & iya are hosting a bazaar, where they will have tons of one-of-a-kind home goods, textiles, and jewelry from far away places like West Africa and Peru. Check out their Facebook event page and Instagram for sneak peeks of what will be on sale. But if something catches your eye, be sure to get there early—once these items are gone they are gone forever.
