Knees and Elbows, Bitches!

For your own safety:

If you are a pedestrian crossing any street with vehicular traffic, and if you are physically capable of doing so, then look BOTH ways and HURRY THE FUCK UP, JACKASS.

This is ESPECIALLY true when visibility might be limited, such as early mornings, dusk, and full dark. Unless you're currently on fire, you're not as visible to motorists as you may think you are. The world doesn't come screeching to a halt just because you are crossing the street.

Do you not have any self preservation instincts? Has common sense finally ceased to exist in the average human?

Just cross the damn street already, and do it quickly. Don't stroll. Don't swagger. Don't be texting. Don't be talking on your phone. Don't be reading a book. Don't passively-aggressively shuffle across in super slow motion, as you frown at and dare the vehicles around you to move or honk.

You know why? Because you're not fucking invulnerable, dumbass. Sooner or later you're bound to get hurt or killed, and it will be your own damn fault.

I don't know about you, but when I cross the street on foot, I don't freaking lollygag. That's because I know that even if I have the right of way, that isn't going to magically keep me from being splattered to a pulp by an equally inattentive driver.

So put some pep in your step when you're exposed to vehicular traffic, slow poke, and show me some damn knees and elbows when you're crossing the street.
