I have a hard time even believing that in such an alternative and progressive city as Portland there is even enough literate and seemingly semi-intelligent people to express their irrational dislike for tall bikes. What about people riding tall bikes makes you think they do it for attention? Don't you think maybe it's fun? Maybe some people are just quirky, unique and different! Maybe they feel comfortable expressing themselves? Isn't that a good thing? Riding a tall bike feels like flying, and there are many of other great advantages that can easily be understood and are very appealing. There is so much that is more deserving of your hatred, like human trafficking, or the elite ruling class. Tall biking is good for community, loved by all children, old folks and yes, tourists (what's wrong with that?). People that actually have any time to expend on disliking tall bikes either live a very small world, or are just full of hatred. However, neither is a reason to be such a rude bigot. The world doesn't need people like you ruining it for the rest of us who are just trying to be ourselves and have a good time. Go crawl back into the hole you came from and die, zombie slave.
