Barista and Music Clerk Snarks

Posted by Anonymous on Sun, Feb 9, 2014 at 10:09 AM

Why do I feel like baristas are snarky? I don't even drink coffee, unless you add some liquor to it, so the only times that I'm in a coffeeshop are for other reasons, which I can't avoid. Most encounters with a barista have been very unfriendly. Busy, Busy, Busy! I'm sorry I had my drink in your way of your serving station to where you had to rudely ask me to move it. What a crazy dilema!

There are some music store clerks that are just a tiny bit too snide for their own snideness. Is it because of resentment or bitterness with a failed music career? I'm sorry I don't know all the proper and correct terms for the "thingamajig" that I'm looking for, but I know you understand what I mean. Please don't condescend me as if you are so superior with all your useless information, or that I've taken you away from standing behind the counter.

Be friendly, people. You do realize bullies are dicks, and that makes me not want to shop there or deal with your dickiness.

It's a "happy enchalata, and you think you're going to drown, that's the way that the world goes round."
