"So send me an email." Email sent with a response of "phone calls are better." Phone call made. 2 times. Message left one time. An email is sent back with the excuse of why you didn't answer the phone. At least that's better than the person who answers the phone and then says "I'm too busy to talk, so can I call you back in 15 minutes." Which means never most of the time, and sometimes a call back ensues an hour later.

It's the same with texting. The point of texting is that it is pretty immediate. Gratification instantly. Unless you're dealing with someone who texts back a few days later. Or they don't know how to work their phone yet. Or they are too cheap to pay for text messages. Then they say phone calls only, between noon and 5pm is best. Then they don't answer their phone, and with any message left, ends up in doo doo land.

We have all these forms of communication. Phones, Emails, Texting, Computers, Facebook, and still no connections. Some people do though. You can build a relationship with them, trust them, and make plans and commitments to them. Someone is accountable. But in dealing with the opposite of this spectrum, you get a flake. Thanks people. You are truly living up to how flaky and unaccountable this life is becoming. Unless YOU need or want something.

But I'm sure you were Facebooking , while texting, while listening to your stereo, with the TV on, a video game on pause, and all the while you are getting stuff done.
