No, orange wine is pretty shitty across the board. It's only a "thing" because of the need for the next new thing, but the wine world doesn't really need that. Good wine from good wine regions continues to be really good. The only reason you need "new" is because a good wine region that was reasonably priced was recently discovered, and is not so reasonably priced anymore. But that doesn't have anything to do with orange wine, which is simply a method of production that turns out wine of a quality that is certainly unique, but honestly not very good. It's a fad pretty much all regular wine drinkers will be skipping, both those that are "serious, because it's interesting and fun and happens to also get you drunk," and the vast majority who fall into the "not serious because it's mostly about an excuse to get drunk and it all tastes the same to me" categories.
