I'm really, really excited for the online conversations that are going to take place around the TBA festival this year. Twitter is a factor in a way that it hasn't been in years past, and I've already found it helpful in locating content strewn across various blogs. (Speaking of blogs, it's great to see that PICA's finally putting some effort into their Urban Honking site: page through the archives, you'll see what I mean.)

We'll be covering the festival on our TBA blog, plus I've set up a Twitter account specifically for TBA coverage: that's @MercTBA.

I did a very informal Twitter poll today to see who else is planning on covering the festival on Twitter:

@P_I_C_A: PICA has been tweeting like crazy already, posting photos from Washington High school and links and all kindsa stuff.

@pdxTBA: An aggregate of festival tweets.

@WKEntertainment: Weiden + Kennedy's entertainment arm is all over it, plus they'll be posting daily video recaps.

@lisaradon, @runyon: Portland Monthly art bloggers Lisa Radon and Robert Runyon will be covering on Twitter and at Culturephile.

@grantbutler: Oregonian food and arts writer Grant Butler.

@mightytoycannon: Local arts writer Ross McKeen, who blogs with the utmost perspicacity at Culture Shock.

@pdxtweet: The PDX Pipeline crew, covering both TBA and Bumbershoot.

@onportland: From On Portland , where I suspect you'll find blog coverage as well.

Plus! Live audio streaming at radio23.org (@Radio23) and the Portland Radio Authority (@thePRA)

Folks are using the hashtag #tba09 to organize their tweets, and... I think that's it. If I missed you on this list, please speak up in the comments.
