the democrats in D.C. are such gutless punks. I love how NOW they're MAYBE going to start start thinking about having the judiciary committee look into ONE article of impeachment. Way too little, way too late, you miserable, sniveling puddles of piss.
I'm not an economist, but isn't it understandable that a mental recession would be reflected in the Dow? Aren't those numbers on the Dow mostly controlled by a bunch of guys in a big room yelling and waving tickets around? Maybe some of them are bummed out about stuff lately.
Also, I live in that rezoned region (like, my house has been rezoned and I can start selling stuff out of it now, which means maybe I should start charging people to play my pinball machines and eat my donuts?).
In the last few days, I noticed a new big orange street light right outside my window. At the neighborhood meetings, everyone was excited about the rezoning, and personally I think money will come to the region. A lot of people live/hang out in this area (and it's NOT the ugliest place in the city! screw that). Just a few blocks east on Killingsworth, there is a Cup and Saucer, coffee shops, and other stuff, and it looks like those are doing alright. The park near us has wifi for some reason..
So, soon I won't have to hear megaphoned "CAR WASH" 800 times a day. But I'll kind of miss sitting on my porch watching drug deals... hopefully the boutiques will be worth it.
