It seems to me that probably two things are happening as far as the Presidential contenders: 1) Obama is being fed the actual facts about the war and the world we're living in while 2) McCain is realizing that the war isn't very popular and that stump speeches aren't going to change that. Of those two possibilities, McCain's is the one that's cynical and dishonest.
