A meniscus tear isn't too serious. It's basically a piece of cartilage that's torn and needs to be removed. I had this surgery a few years back. Went backpacking 6 weeks later. No need to panic, folks.

Poor boy. No running, jumping, climbing stairs, or off-leash time for at least 4-6 weeks.
