I used to enjoy going to Timbers games a few times per year, that is until the people of P-town have been forced to eat this stadium/franchise crap sandwich. I now refuse to give Paulson another dime of my money voluntarily, of course it appears he's going to be getting plenty of our tax dollars. Sorry Timbers, as much as I enjoyed watching the play, it has sadly become a matter of principle. Who knew "P-town" stood for "Paulson-town."

You won't be missed.

Too funny, you Timbers Army folks can't see how you've sealed your own fate. Paulson has ruined a good thing with his own greed.

I'm sure the Timbers will miss your "couple times per a year" attendance while they look at their spreadsheet with 5,000 new season ticket holders this season.

Have a high opinion off yourself much?

On the team front.

The question in my mind is going to be whether Keita performs and our outside mids. I actually think Savage may become a key player for us on the right side of midfield.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cameron winds up on the bench in the back.

I wonder if Paulson used to break all of his expensive toys when he was a kid? It would be an interesting case study.

Can't wait for this season... bought season tickets for the first time ever yesterday. I'll be happy to be surrounded by true supporters.

Don't need the pompous, fairweathers like zipitup who want the city to fail, anyway. He sounds like Rush Limbaugh.

This year's team is a complete mystery to me at this point. But can't possibly be as bad as last year's team, so I'm optimistic too.

Even if the team *is* that bad, this will be an epic season, with attendance pushing 10k.

Right, because Rush is constantly railing against the corrupting influences of the wealthy elite. Please....

Where would Portland be without your anonymous self righteous railing!?! Perish the thought!

Nice article! Thanks for supporting our locals, like a Proud Portlander!

Please wait...
