Uhmm, he does know that it is against the law to start construction until after the EIS is done, right? But hey, if the state wants to get sued and end up setting this project back 5 years, I'm not going to complain...

It is funny that his press conference is taking place at the Expo Center. An over budget, over priced chunk of concrete that is underused and has operated at a loss since it was opened.

That isn't true Abusive, it is heavily used. For instance, during WWII it saw use as a concentration camp. And from looking at your picture, what higher use is there than that?

Jobs at any cost, it sounds like.

Put a 24 lane bridge up and create 50K jobs. Make the project last for 100 years and have festivals and cotton candy!

I had to read that twice to make sure it was in quotes. I thought a bridge was about transportation and making things livable. Eat now, breathe smog later?

Abusive seems to have the Expo Center confused with the Convention Center.
