What the fuck kind of "outreach" process requires people to go to the Pettygrove room at City Hall? That's telling people to come to you, not reaching out to them

To be fair, it's the outreach planning meeting. Which reminds me: How many planning meetings does it take to outreach to a lightbulb?

I'm torn on this one. I basically agree with the civil rights angle, but i'm not at all looking forward to good old days of avoiding packs of street kids and their dogs taking up half of every sidewalk and asking me for stuff.

thanks for reporting on our event on Sunday. I do want to mention that it is not just me involved in Soapbox Under the Bridge. There are a lot of people investing time, energy and love in to this organizing project.
we hope that by going out to the street corner, we can bring voices to the table that are to often overlooked not heard.
