Everyone here knows that the republicans will force it onto the ballot and the city will overwhelmingly turn it down.
And everyone knows that the real tangible mistake Adams made will be staring at them everytime they go to Vancouver or make the trek up and down from Seattle.
I like Pavement. Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain is still an excellent album.
Also, I could give a rip about Sam's sex life.
I do want him to pull it together, stop letting his personal life overshadow his ability to lead, and I want him to help get Portland back on track fiscally from a public finance level, and economically from a citywide level. 'Cause seriously, between increased lay-offs in the City, a horrible unemployment rate in the city, and ongoing morale and management problems inside city hall and the bureaus, as well as the latest MLS/Lents/PGE fiasco, he's failing as a mayor.
Oh, and the super "Central City" URA he's proposing could be the straw that breaks the Mayor's back. Not the "scandal"
