"If he drafts three more, he gets a free pick, a trip to València, and a delicious foot-long sub.)"

Nice.

I love the Pendergraph pick. I was hoping Portland would look for a beefy PF type in the draft, and this kid fits the mold exactly.

I'm sorta blah on Claver and Cunningham, unless they're used as part of a deal. Claver is more interesting, and I like the idea of keeping him in Spain for a while. I hope, though, that we see Koponen stateside before Claver.

I'm torn on Patty Mills. At first, I was very anti. I told my wife minutes before that pick how much I hated midget point guards... then bam. 5'10" Mills. Stupid fucking karma.

But then I realized this was the guy from the Aussie team that impressed the hell out of me in the last Olympics. Think I'm waffling on this.

And I have to disagree about Bayless. I'm just not a fan of shoot-first point guards. That's not to say that I don't want a PG who can get it done when he needs to... I'm just more into the Deron Williams type: a guy who looks to distribute and lead first, but is able to go to the hole when he knows that the other guys aren't converting.

Pendergraph is a dunce with a basketball IQ in the negatives. As an ASU alum I'm sorry to see him come our way. The rose quarter is not the SRC. Alas, I hope I'm wrong.

Hey, EZ, SMC is my college!

Not soft back then, playing against Bill & KC at USF!

size issues with a point guard? were you not watching Aaron Brooks in the playoffs?
