Just so we're clear on what happened here:

Black man (Gladney) protests Obamacare. A group of SEIU thugs, disagreeing with his political views, beat him and use racial slurs against him.

And to today's liberal, this is a good thing, because of the double-plus-ungood nature of his political views and political speech. And it's even a better thing that he's poor and can't afford health insurance. Yeah, suffer, you ignorant n***!

Jesus wept. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. What about the rest of you Mercury bloggers? Do you agree that violence and racial harassment are acceptable, as long as the victims are conservatives or opposed to Obamacare?

Video of the incident here:

Wow... Mr. Vol, you seem to be missing the irony of someoene protesting universal health coverage and then requiring other people to pay his medical bills because he has no health insurance.

Yes, it's depolorable that he was assaulted. But that doesn't detract from the irony. It would be like Nader being killed by a '62 Corvair.

"Oh my God, they killed Kenny! ...You bastards!"

No, it would be like Nader being killed by a '62 Corvair...that he owned and was driving.

Turns out this is as bogus as the Kenyan birth certificate.

That guy on the ground is wearing a purple t-shirt. Notice the colors of the SEIU people. Purple. The guy who got knocked to the ground is a Baptist minister, disabled, and member of SEIU Local 2000 in St. Louis.

Irony was not the point of the post. "Suffer, Teabagger" was the point of the post. Sure, it's ironic. That makes it OK? I suppose that's the ultimate hipster douchebag attitude - irony justifies anything.

I guess it's clear that all the other bloggers here agree - those on the other side of political debates should suffer physical injury and be unable to be treated. Political violence is kosher. Nice to know.

"That guy on the ground" was someone who got knocked to the ground in the scuffle. Notice the fat dirtbag standing up in the SEIU shirt - that's one of the guys who knocked Gladney to the ground.

If someone started shit in a biker bar and got his ass kicked, I don't think you'd be shedding to many indigent tears, mr vol. The reason this is amusing is that there have been so many videos of assholes showing up to town halls and harassing the milquetoast grade school teachers who usually show up to those kinds of things. This seems like a situation where maybe it wasn't wise to start shit, and some people decided to anyway and now here we are. Go figure.

The Culture War just went all middle-school. Whee.

btw those "racial slurs" were shouted by another black man (as the article you referenced, referenced)

Please wait...
