"Whatever is in the seas and in the rivers that does not have fins and scales among all the teeming life of the water, and among all the living creatures that are in the water, they are detestable things to you, and they shall be abhorrent to you; you may not eat of their flesh."
So any bible-spouting god-botherer who eats a prawn is a hypocrite and not worth listening to.
Wm. etc. -- second on i-a-b. It's part of my daily routine. Sometime in the last coupla days, they had a pic of Samurai biker/Hero Protagonist as part of Fancy's pic dump.
Wm., I know the whole illiteracy thing is in this season, but please do go look up the word "petard", and maybe "hoist" while you're at it. You seem to be misunderstanding something important about one of them.
Good one, that passage relates to the seventh commandment, placing a restraint upon fleshly lusts which war against the soul. So, you may want to read John 8:7 before either side picks up stones - in other words don't hoist the device that was hoisted against you lest you get 'Hoist with your own petard'.
The question is "with" vs "on". You don't get hoisted ("lifted") ON a bomb. However, I remember the whole "nex, your sentence is actually MISSING A VERB" thing and how fruitless that was, so please feel free to savor your win.
Name calling is my favorite rhetorical device! If someone called me a smug, ignorant asshole, I would rethink my logic and deliver a more acceptable line of reason. And don't forget: grammar and homonyms is something everyone basically understands by middle school. If you are still priding yourself on your ability to analyze them, it could be a good time to reconsider where you get your self esteem!
Lookit! I cant be snarky too! And exclaim!! :D :D :D
