I wonder if Randy will move to add a bit about how Stickel expressed support for the WW2 internment of Japanese-Americans during a conversation about the JTTF. Probably not.

These are fairly standard recognitions that are used from local to national level. They are political-based and almost always have a favor behind them. I have an aunt that had her Senator include her son's death in the recognitions during a Senatorial meeting a few years back.
