"studying your a school history text book" huh?

The Eiffel Tower was itself built for a World's Fair and the French government was planning to tear it down after 20 years. Go figure.

Seriously though, the OHM is an archival service with some gallery space. One with very little money these days. Kids go there on field trips sometimes. No one was sitting around thinking "I wonder if the rides are any good at the Oregon History Museum."
