Matt Davis, up on a high horse about people's privacy? Sounds hypocritical coming from a reporter who has posted blogs and stories of people he didn't like, without flinching an eye.
I'm not sure I understand the word "ethical" in this context. Either you report on dirty photos or you don't. You can't say "there are some, and here's where they are" and not have that count. It counts.
@ABS: Posting about someone who you don't like is the definition of invasion of privacy? So Matt Davis can't report on a campaign because he likes one candidate more than the other? I suppose on the M66&67 campaign he can report on it because the other guy didn't even bother to show up, but it seems like not being able to mention anyone unless you like them would kind of limit a newspaper...
And reading though your posting history, talking about people you don't like seems to be all you ever do. Honestly, even D has less hate in his posts than you do.
I'm not interested in looking at this. But I heard on the sports radio this morning (yesterday morning?) that he was dancing it up at a club downtown a few nights ago. THAT bothers me! He should be doing water aerobics or something, not dancing on that bum knee.
@atomic: agreed. As long as you display the appropriate level of public hand-wringing, apparently it's OK to just go ahead and completely DO whatever it is you're supposedly puzzling over.
If someone had hacked his computer or broken into his house, you'd be a dick for posting. But seeing as he sexted them to someone... What did he think was going to happen? As far as the real/fake question, I haven't looked because I'm afraid that's all I'll think about every time he runs up and down the court. But I did meet a woman in Portland who "met him" and claimed his little buddy was the size of an old-growth redwood tree...
Once again you show us that you are not a journalist Matt!
I bet you looked at those pics and had to excuse yourself and go to the restroom to relieve a little "tension." (and when I say "little" I mean little! hahahaha)
Matthew D please illustrate where I define my arguments with emotion rather than reason.
Sarcasm aside, I hear more hate against religion, cops, suburbia, Walmart, fast food, etc from the Merc than I've ever spewed here.
It looks like his face isn't the only thing on him that needs a trim.
The Blazers should book Fred Schneider & the Shake Society to play their song "Monster in my Pants" when Oden takes the court.
@Graham and Matthew D, "Im a fucking idiot"? a Unicorn on a short bus?
Are you on LSD? Is this the kind of Gonzo journalism you write, loaded on a cornucopia of narcotics and fire off some attacks? Its somewhat poetic, but not much of a blogger.
I don't like the way the two of you kiss City Hall ass....And yes , I am quite verbal about how you two continue to defend City Hall douche bags. It clearly paints the picture of your intentions and most likely "job description" details.
City Hall needs big changes and quick to repair the damage to the citizens who pay all their salaries.
I wasn't actually attacking Matt Davis as I was questioning the truth in the comment of him "protecting someones privacy and up on a high horse."
Graham and Matthew D have proven over and over again they dont care about someones privacy....remember the group attack orchestrated on the Mary Volm supporter?
Do you know who "Q" is, the CEO of the website who posted the Oden pictures? He's a right wing religious fanatic who, "prays to God for his dreams to come true", via his voicemail message.

Tell ya what, ABS. Explain with some details rather than just making up a fantasy world where Davis does these mythical things you think he does.
