I've heard a lot of cheering for "progress" after this vote. Is raising taxes in and of itself a "progressive solution"? I can see arguing that it's an unfortunate necessity in difficult times, but cheering tax increases as "progress" that needs to be emulated across the country is lame.
And I'd love for this chick to test out her theory that what the "angry voters" across the nation want is tax increases. Good luck with that.
Makes you think.
