I just got done reading Windup Girl. I really enjoyed the world the author created in it, was pretty unique.

I've heard excellent things about The City and the City and I like China Mieville anyway so....

I find the ratio of neo-noir to steampunk pleasing.

Also, magic wine wizards? I'm giving that a preliminary thumbs up.
