Well, as a former employee of said joint, I always thought that the McMenamins and the OLCC had a close working relationship, because if they didn't, well...They'd be fucked.

So it struck me as a plea for money on the part of a state agency. I also heard that one of the brothers Mac is actually a member of the OLCC. Absolutely nothing to confirm that, by the way: just some guy told me that.
