A police shooting is tragedy, even if it is justified. However, I would just hope that Saltzman, being our police commissioner, would have at least a foggy idea of how to act in a situation like this.

It's like at the City Council hearing on police accountability last week where he didn't say a darn thing. Come on, Dan! Show some backbone and some leadership.

Why is Sarah Mirk writing this piece? Where are the accusations? the broad sweeping statements? the facile conclusions? It's almost as if she's reporting facts as they become available. where's the speculation? Where's Matt Davis? I need someone to tell me the police are bad!

What's up with the P-town piggys ? These jackasses are just a bunch of walking hard-ons . It is most of these guys wet dream to get to pull the trigger on anyone who gives them a reason . I'll bet this copper does'nt have to take a piss test either . How can you end someones life at work and not have to piss in a cup ???
