Bend isn't in Eastern Oregon; it's not even in the Eastern half of Oregon. Bend is Central Oregon.

@ Graham: c'mon. We all know that anything east of 60th Ave is Eastern Oregon, and anything west of NW 23rd is Hillsboro. (NB: If you see water, you are at the coast).

I thought anything East of the mountains was Eastern Oregon? Nothing to do with the actual mid-point, and everything to do with climate and topography?
