Specifically: I'd love to see those old EGMs. We've talked about that magazine before when it got the axe (http://blogtown.portlandmercury.com/Blogto…), but seeing some old pages from it would be great.

I imagine they wouldn't come close to living up to my fond memories of that magazine, but hell, maybe they'll be better than the EGM "relaunch" that happened this month--the first issue of which, at least, seems well-intentioned but confused about what made the magazine so good in the first place.

I lost a few hours a couple nights reading old magazines and came close to starting to scan a bunch of mine to add to the archive there.

I enjoy the frequent unironic useage of the phrase "protip." At what point did that word become a gag-joke?

Also, as far as old EGMs go, I really like and remember this one from November 1990 with info on Super Mario Bros. 4!
