Hawaii is very diverse and so are the plate lunches.

Sure you can find greasy fried craziness like Loco Moco (which is a hamburger patty on top of rice with a fried egg and gravy) but Lomi Salmon, lau lau, poke, kahlua pork, katsu chicken, and ahi are all plate lunch staples.
